Stavian Industrial Metal wins two awards at APEA 2026

Stavian Industrial Metal received two Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards 2026 for business performance, corporate governance and sustainability efforts in the industrial metals sector.

The company won the Corporate Excellence Award and the Corporate Integrity & Governance Excellence Award at the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City on Oct. 15.

Organized annually by Enterprise Asia since 2007, APEA recognizes businesses and entrepreneurs for corporate performance, innovation and sustainable development across the Asia-Pacific region.

The Corporate Excellence Award recognizes the company's expansion across the industrial metals supply chain. A member of Stavian Group, Stavian Industrial Metal processes, manufactures, invests in and trades steel, aluminum, copper and zinc.

Its operations span raw material sourcing, processing and distribution, supported by logistics, financial and risk management services. The company has developed five business models and 25 solutions to serve domestic and international customers.

The Corporate Integrity & Governance Excellence Award recognizes its efforts to strengthen governance and risk management while integrating sustainability into its operations.

The company is also investing in digital transformation, automation and artificial intelligence to improve supply chain management, data analysis and forecasting.

Speaking at the ceremony, CEO Justin Nguyen Minh Tiep said the company would focus on supply chain development, stronger governance and lower-emission industrial materials.

"We remain committed to creating greater value across the industrial metals supply chain, strengthening corporate governance, and proactively embracing the green transition," he said.

The company is developing a portfolio of green metals, including green steel, green direct reduced iron (DRI), hot briquetted iron (HBI), green aluminum and recycled aluminum. It is also expanding emissions management and carbon credit services to meet demand for emissions reduction and product traceability.

In 2025, Stavian Industrial Metal signed binding terms with India's ACME Group for a long-term offtake agreement covering green HBI and DRI. The proposed deal provides for exclusive offtake in Asian markets and Türkiye, with volumes of up to 800,000 metric tons annually over 10 years.

The company said the two awards reflect its strategy of combining business growth with stronger governance and environmental responsibility. It plans to expand international partnerships and develop higher-value solutions across global metals supply chains.
