Fragrance and aftershave products under the David Beckham brand generated an average of £17,250 (US$23,000) per day in 2025 for the former England football star.

Citing the brand's 2025 financial report, Daily Mail revealed that the "Instinct" fragrance line contributed a turnover of £6.3 million to Sir Beckham's earnings, and £5.4 million of that was profit. In addition to the flagship "Instinct" line, the David Beckham brand offers a diverse range of fragrances and aftershaves priced between £12 and £50.

Accounts show a cash balance of £7.9 million, with the company's total assets valued at £10.4 million.

A close friend of the football icon told Daily Mail: "Anyone who has met David knows how good he smells, so with that in mind, it isn't so surprising that his perfume range is so popular. He started it back in the Noughties and he has kept releasing more. He is really proud of his perfumes. David's fans seem to want to smell like him."

These fragrance lines, along with other luxury ventures associated with Beckham, are managed by Seven Global LLP. The brand was launched in 2015 as a joint venture between Global Brands Group and David Beckham, with Beckham's own company, DB Ventures, taking full control seven years later.

In addition to fragrances, Seven Global LLP also manages the rights to the "Eyewear by David Beckham" collection, produced in partnership with the Safilo Group.

Beckham previously secured significant earnings through a series of advertising deals linked to the 2026 World Cup in the U.S. According to Financial Times, thanks to the tournament, the football legend received approximately $51 million in dividends from his business empire, which propelled his company to record-breaking revenue and profit.

The former England captain prominently appeared in around 12 major advertising campaigns surrounding the 2026 World Cup, collaborating with global brands such as Lenovo, McDonald's, Bank of America, Verizon and PepsiCo's Lay's.

Beckham, 51, served as captain of the England national team from 2000 to 2006. He retired from professional football in 2013 at the age of 38. He continued to make a significant impact on football in the U.S. as a co-owner of Inter Miami CF. Under his leadership, the club signed superstar Lionel Messi and secured the MLS championship last season. Beyond football, Beckham has also ventured into the entertainment industry, co-founding the production company Studio 99 in 2019.

In May, Beckham officially became the first British athlete, active or retired, to reach a net worth exceeding £1 billion, according to the Rich List of Sunday Times.

Forbes estimates the total net worth of the Beckham family to be £1.185 billion, with the football icon maintaining a diverse investment portfolio that generates major annual income.

In June, Beckham was honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, recognizing his contributions to popularizing football in the U.S. Last year, he was knighted by King Charles III for his services to sport and the community.
