K-pop group BigBang are staying at JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, which has hosted many heads of state, for their two concerts in the city on Oct. 24 and 25.
The trio of G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung are spending three nights at the hotel, from Oct. 23 to 25, a source told VnExpress. The members are staying in several luxury suites on the upper floors.
The hotel, on Do Duc Duc Street in Tu Liem Ward, is about 4 km from My Dinh National Stadium, the venue for both shows on the group's 20th-anniversary world tour.
JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi has nearly 20 room categories, with rates that vary by date. Its premium suites include the Grand Suite, the Chairman Suite and the Presidential Suite.
The Presidential Suite, the most expensive, costs about VND170 million (US$6,600) a night and the Chairman Suite about VND150 million, according to rates listed on booking platform Agoda for November and December. Other suites go for around VND30-40 million.
The 450-room hotel was designed by American architect Carlos Zapata, who drew on the image of a dragon and the contours of Vietnam's coastline.
Many heads of state and celebrities have stayed there on visits to Vietnam, among them Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, U.S. President Donald Trump, former U.S. presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and former South Korean President Moon Jae-in.
When G-Dragon came to Vietnam to perform in November 2025, he stayed at InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72, where the most expensive room then cost about VND65 million a night.
